Hucknall was ‘wonderfully privileged to have had a friend like Stan Grainger’, it was said at a celebration of his life this week. The Rev Eric Ashby told a large congregation in Mansfield Crematorium chapel: “I hope each of us will go away with a good memory of Stan, not only in Hucknall but also the wider community, and carry on the good work he has done for so many years.”
