HUCKNALL MURDER UPDATE: Woman accused of killing Karl Bloxham appears in court

A woman accused of murdering a man at a house in Hucknall appeared in court this morning.

Ellisha Allen, 28, of Spruce Grove, Hucknall, appeared in Nottingham Magistrates’ Court today (1 August).

She is accused of the murder of 39-year-old Karl Bloxham, also of Spruce Grove, who died as the result of a stab wound to the chest at their home on the evening of Wednesday, July 29.

Allen, who was thought to be Bloxham’s partener, was originally arrested on suspicion of GBH.

Mr Bloxham was taken to Nottingham’s Queens Medical Centre for treatment for life-threatening injuries following the incident, but died hours later.

Magistrates’ have sent the case straight to crown court and Allen will remain in prison until her bail hearing on Tuesday 4 August.

Ellisha Allen will appear in Nottingham Crown Court for her plea and case management hearing on Tuesday 18 August.
