Hucknall man took lock knife into nightclub
A Hucknall man has been found guilty of taking a knife into a Nottingham nightclub.
Nicky Brookes, 35, of Annesley Road, denied carrying a bladed article when he appeared at Nottingham Magistrates Court, on February 28, but was found guilty at a trial on May 11.
The court heard he was found with a lock knife in the NG1 nightclub, in Nottingham, on February 11.
He was given a 12 month community order, with 80 hours of unpaid work. He must also pay an £85 victim surcharge and court costs of £200.
