Hucknall blaze started deliberately

Firefighters were called to a fire that was started deliberately in Hucknall on Wednesday evening.

One hose reel jet from Stockhill fire station was used to extinguish the blaze on Blenheim Lane at 6.43pm.

In a tweet, the fire service said the incident was reported to Nottinghamshire police.

Stockhill were also called out at midday on Tuesday in Bulwell, to a fire involving 50 square meters of grass and undergrowth on Lawton Drive.

Crews used water back packs and beaters to extinguish it.
