How did this Land Rover end up teetering over water in Mansfield?
A 4x4 car was seen hanging over the edge of a river bank.
A witness said the incident happened at around 4.30pm, on June 10 near the stream that supplies Rufford Ford, near Ollerton.
He was alerted to the accident when he heard a bang, followed by a constant car horn, as his group were walking back to the Rufford Mill Country Park car park.
The witness said: “The horn sounded for a good five minutes as we were walking closer. When we got to the ford, the car was empty, just hanging over the stream. I hope everyone is ok.”
Nottinghamshire Police have not yet commented.
