Housing plans for pub site accepted- again
Applications to put homes on the site of the old Jolly Friar on Dale Lane, Blidworth, were accepted in 2012 and 2014, but no work was ever carried out.
In 2012, plans were drawn up for four houses and then with five in 2014.

Hide AdNow, the latest plans are for three large homes – with at least four bedrooms and two parking spaces each.
And the applicant they said the work would start “immediately”.
Applicant Forest Homes said, in its planning application: “Both previously-approved schemes were outline applications only, neither demonstrated sufficient private amenity space for all the proposed dwellings.
“The proposed dwellings, designed to be redolent of converted former farmhouse and courtyard of outbuildings, will more easily and naturally integrate with the surrounding location.”
The pub had been closed for several years before it was demolished after attracting vandals and arsonists.
