Craig Peppard (28), of Verone Drive, was stopped by police after he drove past the scene of an earlier accident on 15th June, Mansfield Magistrates’ Court was told on Wednesday, 2nd July.

Police had cordoned off the road to prevent vehicles from driving past the scene, but defence lawyers said Peppard did not realise the road had been closed until he was flagged down by police.
