Holiday fun at Sutton’s Idlewells Centre

PARENTS can keep their children entertained during the summer holidays with a series of free activities at Sutton’s Idlewells Centre.

There will be four Kidactivity sessions taking place on each Saturday in August, between 11am-3pm, and the club is free to attend.

The first activity takes place on Saturday and has an environmental theme.

During the event, youngsters will get the chance to plant a bean maze and watch the little plant grow towards the light.

The RSPB Ashplorers will also be on hand and children will be able to look through a microscope at feathers and owl pellets.

Other activities for the coming weeks include creating a carnival mask, building a boat and designing a new animal.

Centre manager Andrew Wraight said: “Our Kids Club got off to a great start earlier this year and we have some brilliant activities coming up.”
