A heroin addict stole from her mother’s home at Westwood to fund her drug habit, a court heard.

Kelly Clark, 27 pleaded guilty to stealing cash, jewellery and bath products belonging to Dee Clark and Pal Muzsla, when she appeared at Mansfield Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday.

The court was told Clark of Melrose Street Hull, had been a heroin addict for several years.

Despite having turned her life around through detox for four years, she had relapsed back onto the drug after she was discharged from methadone treatment. Magistrates’ heard she was ashamed of the 10th October theft. The case was adjourned to Hull Magistrates’ Court for reports on 6th November and Clark was given conditional bail.
