HEAVY M1 TRAFFIC: Lane closed after vehicle breaks down
Drivers are being warned about heavy traffic on the motorway after a lorry broke down near Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire this morning (March 15).
One lane has been closed on the southbound stretch of the M1 between J29 for Chesterfield and Mansfield and J28 for Alfreton.
Highways England has said the slow traffic is due to an obstruction caused by a broken down HGV in one of the three lanes.
The event is expected to clear by 12.30pm.
