Healthcare group opens £2.5 million care home for the elderly creating 40 jobs in Mansfield

The Woodlands Care Home, owned by Carisbrooke Health Care Ltd, is a luxury 40 bedroom development which will create 40 new local jobs.

The business is owned by Raouf Sohawon and Zahra Sohawon, each who have more than 20 years experience in the social care sector and have two existing care homes in Mapperley Park and Hucknall.

Mr Sohawon said: “This would not have been possible without the countless support of Nigel Winkett and Ashley Hallam of Barclays who have made this project possible, along with Elizabeth Winfield, Managing Director and Damien Spratt of MGC Hayles, who have worked tirelessly as we continue to transform the way we operate and endlessly improve our ability to enhance the quality of life in the elderly, specifically those living with dementia.
