Derbyshire Community Health Services NHS Trust has been recognised in prestigious national awards as among the best in the country.
The Trust, which provides services across Derbyshire in community hospitals, clinics and people’s homes, was runner-up for both the Trust of the Year and Good Corporate Citizen awards in the Health Service Journal (HSJ) Awards.
The awards – known as the healthcare Oscars – attracted more than 1,000 entries, from which a total of 120 organisations were shortlisted.
Tracy Allen, Chief Executive of Derbyshire Community Health Services NHS Trust, said: “I am immensely proud that the hard work and commitment of our staff has enabled us to achieve such high standards.
“The annual HSJ Awards are recognised across the NHS as a badge of excellence and are designed to celebrate NHS organisations that raise the standards of healthcare in the UK. To have that recognition is fantastic.”
