Health chiefs have revealed Mad Friday actually saw a DROP in patients attending A&E.
The day marked the evening where most workers finish for Christmas and drink to extreme and end up need hospital treatment.
But this year less people attending on Friday, and instead peaked on Thursday 18th.
Friday saw 249 people needing hospital attention, yet Thursday clocked up 284 people visiting.
Monday was the busiest in the week with 306 people needing treatment.
Sherwood Forest Hospital Trust had even got extra doctors and nurses in to cope with the expected demand.
But they had urged people to consider whether they needed treatment in the emergency department.
