Cake sale at King’s Mill Hospital for Chad MRI scanner appeal

TASTY treats will be on sale at King’s Mill Hospital next month to raise cash for Chad’s life-changing MRI scanner campaign.

Chad staff will join up with hospital volunteers to serve up a variety of homemade cakes and buns on 13th September from 10am.

So far more than £68,000 has been raised since Chad and King’s Mill Hospital teamed up in a bid to raise a massive £750,000 for a brand new scanner.

Hospital bosses say the state-of-the-art scanner will be able to treat hundreds of thousands of patients over the next seven years and offer a safer, faster and more detailed diagnosis.

It will be the second MRI cake bake sale held at the hospital after our first sale raised £215.57.
