Kirkby hairdresser Brenda Hayes snipped her way through 24 hours of haircuts to raise cash for homeless charity Framework
Brenda started the mammoth snip-a-thon last Tuesday at 7am and finally finished Wednesday morning.
She set up the salon 14 years ago said: “I want to help make people aware of homelessness.
“It’s nice to try and help people because some aren’t as fortunate as us and I think Framework do a good job.
“The more people that got their hair or nails done – then the more money we raised for a good cause.”
She donated 25 per cent of the day’s takings to the charity and raised £500 for the cause.
