Haggis on menu for Mansfield Market Place Burns Night celebrations

The distinctive sound of the bagpipes will be heard throughout the Market Place next Tuesday as the town celebrates Burns Night.

A Scottish piper will be playing from 12noon to 2pm and local food vendors will be serving traditional Burns Night food including haggis, tatties (mashed potatoes) and neeps (mashed turnips).

The event is part of a series of promotions planned in Mansfield town centre throughout the year to mark various worldwide events.
