Olympic gold-winner Rebecca Adlington has married fellow swimmer Harry Needs.
The 25-year-old swimming star tied the knot at The Ashes, near Leek in Staffordshire, over the weekend.
The couple wrote their own vows for the ceremony.
She told Hello! magazine: “The ceremony was so personal, which was exactly what we wanted.
“I love the fact Harry was in bits before I even reached him. I was a bit nervous in the car on the way here with my dad, but as soon as I walked in, my nerves melted and I relaxed.
“The room was just so full of love.”
At the age of 19, she won two gold medals at the Beijing 2008 Olympics in the 400- and 800-metre freestyles, breaking a world record in the process.
On her return from China, a crowd of 15,000 well-wishers turned out to welcome her back to Mansfield, where the mayor presented her with a £460 pair of Jimmy Choo shoes.
Four years later, at London 2012, She won two bronzes in the same events.
In February 2013, she announced her retirement from professional swimming at the age of 23 and appeared on ITV’s I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here.
