‘Glastonjerry’ festival arrives at Newstead Abbey

Dog owners from across Mansfield and Ashfield came together in the sun at Newstead Abbey for Jerry Green Dog Rescue’s “Glastonjerry” fun dog festival.

The festival, which doubled as a fundraiser for the Blidworth-based charity, featured a number of activities for dogs, children and families.

Activities included hay bale racing, an agility course and the ‘Fun Dog Show’, with the opportunity to win prizes in categories such as waggiest tail.

Visitors also took part in archery classes, circus skills and met a bird of prey. and were treated to live musical performances throughout the day.
