Girl uses pen to stab woman in Alfreton car park

A girl is believed to have used a pen to stab a woman in a car park.

Two women and a man were sat inside a vehicle in the car park at Alfreton’s Wilko store when they were approached by a girl and a youth.

An altercation took place and one of the woman got out of the car and was assaulted by the girl. She was punched repeatedly and stabbed with what may have been a pen.

The man and the other woman got out of the car and she was also assaulted.

The car was also damaged during the incident.

The victims drove off and called for an ambulance. They were treated for cuts and bruises at Royal Derby Hospital.

A 19-year-old man and a 16-year-old girl have been arrested and have been released on police bail pending further investigations.
