Residents are concerned about a road in Kirkby after a young girl was injured after being hit by a car.
Emergency services rushed to Nuncargate Road in the afternoon of Thursday, September 29 to reports of an Road traffic incident.
Police confirmed they were called to James Street just after 4pm to reports of a collision involving a car and a six-year-old girl.
A spokeswoman said: “She sustained minor injuries, and was taken to QMC. No one has been arrested.”
Worried neighbour Kate Smith said on Facebook: “That’s three accidents along that road in one month. I hope who ever was involved is okay.”
