Gardener remembers Hall
This picture shows Bulwell Hall after the Italian prisoners of war had left. It was sent to us by Mr R Drew of Wingbourne Walk, Bulwell, who was a groundsman/gardener for Nottingham’s Education Committee who took over the building.
“The education committee then gave it over to the Parks Department before it was demolished,” remembers Mr Drew. If you have an old picture to share, drop it into our postbox at Hucknall Library.
