Fundraisers take part in Sport Relief at Hardwick Hall

Organised by Bolsover District Council and supported by National Trust, everyone from tiny tots to grandparents and teenagers with their dogs, to the more serious runners took part and joined in the fun to complete the 1, 3 or 6 miles, against the spectacular backdrop of Hardwick Hall.

Despite the wind, rain and hail that greeted the first race, the participants entered into the spirit of the event, laughing and cheering as they walked, jogged and run around the course with many of their friends and family cheering them on at the finish line.

The majority of participants wore the Sport Relief merchandise, including a dog with his Sport Relief bandana, but others donned fancy dress including a court jester!

After the races, the participants also had the chance to take part in outdoor family activities throughout the day, including giant board games and a 50 things to do at Hardwick activity trail.
