Fugitive from Mansfield is finally arrested

A wanted Mansfield fugitive is understood to have been finally questioned by police.

The Chad understands that officers have caught up with David Stephen Bradley, who was wanted on multiple charges.

Although Nottinghamshire Police would not confirm it was him, they said a 34-year-old had been arrested and questioned on suspicion of fraud, theft and disclosing sexual photographs or films with intent to cause distress.

It is alleged that tens of thousands of pounds had gone missing from an account of his former girlfriend.

He has been bailed pending further inquiries.

Police issued a statement in April, appealing for the public’s help in finding Bradley.

It was thought that he had been living in the Sheffield or Chesterfield area.

He had links with companies in the Middle East and in particular, Dubai, where he had lived.

His former girlfriend appealed for him to give himself up.

She had not seen him since July last year.

She met him in January 2015 when he was working for the conglomerate, Al Futtaim in Dubai.

Working as a sales manager at an estate agents, she says she helped him find his apartment in the upmarket residential area of Emirates Hills in Dubai.

Shortly afterwards, he then quit his job, and told his partner he would find another once the religious festival, Ramadan was over, before leaving the country.
