Friends pay tribute to Mansfield man who plunged to his death from hotel
Callum Marriot, 26, lost his life in an Ibiza apartment block in San Antonio in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Callum had been staying with friends at the Tanit apartment building when the tragedy occurred.

Hide AdHotel residents alerted the police after they heard a loud thud and saw him lying in a pool of blood.
Emergency services were called but were unable to save him.
One of the five friends he was on holiday with returned soon after and identified him.
It is understood investigators have ruled there were no suspicious circumstances.
It is though it Callum had been trying to get into his apartment on the fourth floor having mislaid his keys.

Hide AdWorkmates at Mansfield Citroen where Callum worked as a techician, said they were devastated by the news.
Charlie Simpkin 20 said: “There aren’t words to describe Callum - he was just golden.
“He was like a brother to me.
“He was really bubbly , he loved life, his music and his cars

Hide AdKevin Smith 32, added: “Callum was one ina million - when you needed to talk to him about anything he was there for you.
He was a friend as well as a colleague .
“I knew him when he started as an apprentice and he was coming up to 10 years this year.”
Another friend of Callum from Mansfield who did not want to be named as we went to press said she and her partner were devastated to learn of his death.
She said: Sam added: “Callum was an outgoing lad - he was always at festivals with a group of friends.

Hide Ad“When he didn’t want to drink any more he would often go home.
He wasn’t an idiot or a daft lad - he had his head screwed on and knew what he wanted to do.
“That’s what makes this so hard to believe.
“I don’t know exactly what happened - only that he’s left them and gone home to his apartment.”
Spanish news outlet Diario de Ibiza reported that two agents of the Judicial Police took still photographs of the scene to establish the sequence of what happened.
