Free finance events on offer

Ten free financial and estate planning events are being run by Nottingham Building Society (The Nottingham) over the next six months to offer advice to local people across the East Midlands on planning their financial future.

Joining the team from The Nottingham will be their trusted partner agencies Towergate Financial, The Will Writing Company and Dignity to offer a broad range of advice from protecting financial assets to writing a Will and funeral planning.

Lorraine Giddings, Head of Branch network for The Nottingham, said: “Most people know how important it is to plan a secure financial future for themselves and their families, but often it is difficult to find the time to seek advice and make important decisions. These events give people a stress-free setting in which to seek the relevant advice. We have a number of experts on hand who can answer financial questions or make bookings for any follow-up discussions.

“It is the third year we have run them and they have proved to be a great success with our customers. Now we are offering members of the public, who are not already our customers, to join us. Places are limited, so I would advise anyone interested to call us as soon as possible to book a place.”

The first of the two-hour meetings will be held in Mansfield next Wednesday (21 May). Further ones will be held in Beeston, West Bridgford, Eastwood, Arnold, Colwick, Sheffield, Grimsby, Loughborough and will end in Arnold in October.
