The car park barriers will remain lifted at the Queen’s Medical Centre, Derby Road, and Nottingham City Hospital, Hucknall Road, from midnight on December 24, until midnight on Saturday, December 26.

Louise Scull, chairman of Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust, said: “We recognise the level of frustration and disruption that parking problems have caused our patients and visitors. We also know how difficult it will be for families whose loved one is in hospital over the holiday season and we are, therefore, offering free parking as a gesture of goodwill.”
