Fraudulent Ashfield risk assessor jailed
A risk assessor within the Domestic Abuse Support Unit of Nottinghamshire Police has left the force after admitting fraud.
The 31-year-old woman was based at Ashfield. She appeared before Mansfield Magistrates in August last year, charged with five counts of fraud, committed off-duty for which she pleaded guilty and was given a community order and ordered to pay compensation.
At a gross misconduct hearing in October, she was found guilty and dismissed.
Following an appeal earlier this month, the original decision was upheld.
