Frail drug addict caught in Mansfield house raid

A drug addict described as being ‘frail’ in court was given a conditional discharge when she was caught up in a police raid.

Jodie Fensom (36) of Sanders Avenue, Mansfield, was in possession of amphetamine when officers executed a warrant at a house in nearby Houfton Road.

She had another substance which she had bought thinking it was heroin, but police found it had little trace of the drug.

Admitting the charge, in her defence, Paul Bilton, said his client had a 20-year issue with drugs, and was now seeking help through The Maltings drug service in Mansfield. He described his client as ‘frail’ due to her extremely thin appearance.

She was given a six-month conditional discharge.
