Four arrested after jockey Coleman allegedly punched at Southwell


Four people have been arrested after jump jockey Aidan Coleman was allegedly punched in the weighing room at Southwell, according to national reports.

Notts Police are investigating after Coleman is said to have suffered ‘minor injuries’ after an altercation following Tuesday’s last race.

Two men and a woman have been arrested on suspicion of assault and damage. Another woman has been arrested for obstructing police.

According to the Guardian national newspaper, Coleman has been passed fit to race today after being assessed by a racecourse doctor.
