Former Bulwell headteacher at seminar
A former Bulwell headteacher was the driving force behind a seminar for the National Council of Young Women marking the United Nations’ International Year of the Girl Child. Barbara Maddison, who lives in Bulwell, co-ordinated the event.
Students representing Nottingham Girls High School, Bilborough College, and Nottingham Girls’ Academy teamed up with delegates during the day.
