Focus Management boss gives top workshop to students as part of Career Champions Programme
Malcolm Yates, managing director for Focus Management, along with colleague Finley Turner ran an ‘Assessment Centre activity’ this week, as part of the MLP Career Champions Programme at the Brunts Academy.
The half-day activity workshop was designed and delivered to sixteen year 13 students.
The students received an introduction to assessment centres which included mental ability tests and a group exercise.

Hide AdMr Yates also gave the students an insight into Psychometric Tests.
Some of Malcolm’s top tips to the students included harnessing your brain to your capabilities, be you, and to do what you want to do!
Mr Yates said: “Don’t take up a career that you won’t be happy doing – you only get one life make the most of it!”
