Five arrested after Sutton shooting

Detectives investigating a shooting in Sutton have arrested five men in connection with the incident.

Nottinghamshire Police was called at about 8.30pm on Thursday 16th October to the firearms incident in Hamilton Road.

The victim was admitted to Nottingham’s Queen’s Medical Centre that evening for treatment for a leg injury which police said was not life-threatening.

Three men – aged 26, 31 and 33 – were arrested in the West Midlands in connection with the incident, two other men, aged 32 and 34, were arrested locally. All have been released on bail, pending further enquiries.
