Fishy doorstep dealers operating in Nottinghamshire
The council is warning residents to beware of anything fishy when it comes to doorstep traders.
Nottinghamshire County Council’s Trading Standards team has received reports of salesmen misleading residents into thinking they are buying small quantities of fish but then handing over a large quantity and demanding as much as £264 for payment. Those affected can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
