Firefighters rescue Staffy trapped in drain
Firefighters used specialist rescue equipment to free a dog from a 10ft deep drain in Mansfield this afternoon.
A specialist rescue team from Edwinstowe and rapid response units from Tuxford and Highfields were called to rescue a Staffordshire Bull Terrier from a surface water drain.
Crews took almost an hour to release the dog after it became trapped in the drain on Recreation Street at 2pm.
