Firefighters rescue man from college roof in Kirkby
An injured man was taken to hospital afte firefighters rescued him from a roof at Kirkby College.
Crews from Ashfield and Highfields were called earlier this morning at 7.57am (August 29) to a college on Hodgkinson Road, Kirkby to rescue an injured man from the roof of a building.
Two short extension ladders and a basket stretcher were used to rescue the man who has now been taken to hospital by paramedics.
Firefighters had dealt with the incident by 9.04am.
