Firefighters deal with grass and bush fires along Mansfield road

Firefighters tackled a number of grass and bush fires in Mansfield.

Crews from Mansfield and Blidworth arrived at the scene on Jubilee Way North at around 8.46pm yesterday (Monday, August 20).

They used flexi-packs and beaters to extinguish the fires, the cause of which is not yet known.

Nottinghamshire Police were informed of the incident.
