Firefighters cut motorist free after Bilsthorpe crash

A motorist had to be cut free from a car this afternoon following a crash in Bilsthorpe.

It happened at around 4pm on the A617 at the Lock Hill roundabout when two cars were in collision.

Four people were able to release themselves before the fire service crews arrived from Edwinstowe, Blidworth and a specialist rescue team from Tuxford.

The person cut free from the wreckage was taken to hospital by ambulance.
