Firefighters rushed to a four car-crash in Mansfield.

The collision happened on Sherwood Hall Road at around 5pm on Tuesday.

A Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: "Crews from Mansfield and Edwinstowe attended the incident.

"One person was trapped and extricated by firefighters.

"They were taken to hospital by ambulance."

Less than 24 hours previously, two people were taken to hospital after a two-car crash also on Sherwood Hall Road.
