Fire service boss warns drivers after Kirkby collision

The collision on Derby Road, Kirkby, happened at 4.41pm, on Monday, December 4.

Crews from Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue attended the collision and extracted the casualty from one of the vehicles who was taken to hospital.

Since the collision Damien West, the Group Manager for North Nottinghamshire fire service has warned drivers to be careful on the roads this winter.

He said: "Please be careful on our roads this winter. A moments misjudgement can end catastrophically."
