Fire breaks out at Mansfield’s Savannah Rags

Three fire engines were called out to Savannah Rags, Sandhurst Avenue, Mansfield, on Saturday (9th November) at about 2pm.

The blaze broke out in an industrial dryer on the building’s ground floor.

Firefighters switched off gas and electric and cleared smoke from the textiles recycler. The incident was dealt with by 3pm.

There was nobody in the building at the time.
