Fire at Sutton flats this morning
Firefighters tackled a blaze at a block of flats in Sutton in the early hours of today (Saturday February 16).
Crews from Ashfield and Mansfield extinguished the fire in a sub storage area on Woods Hill at 3.34am.
They used a hosereel jet and breathing apparatus.
Councillor Jason Zadrozny, leader of Ashfield District Coucnil said: “We are dealing with a fire at Brookhill Court flats in Sutton. We would like to assure people that all residents are safe, the fire is out and we are working with the Council’s Housing Team to support residents.”
