The enterprise, which opened in 2009, aims is to support long-term unemployed people to move toward secure work, while, at the same time, reducing the amount of valuable resources going to landfill sites.

Teresa Jackson, Untapped Resource director, said: “Our charity supports unemployed people into work and helps businesses better recycle their waste.

“Funding from players of the People’s Postcode Lottery has enabled us to go into the community and into schools to educate young people about the importance of reducing, reusing and recycling.

“Without the support from the Lottery, none of that work would have been possible, so, on behalf of our entire team, thank you.”

Judie McCourt, People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador, said: “With only a few days to go now until our postcode millions announcement in Mansfield, excitement is certainly building.”
