Fine music in Mansfield

WE had the good fortune of attending a concert at Rainworth Methodist Church, to hear the ‘Singers’ (an all girls’ choir whose ages range from 10 to 20 something).

Their musical director is Meryl Chambers, who is also the musical director of Mansfield Male Voice Choir. Kim Denman is the piano accompanist for the ‘Singers’.

The ‘Singers’ gave the audience a delightful range of quality singing, with some stunning solos. A number of girls demonstrated their all-round musical talents by playing a variety of instruments, which gave a very good balance to the evening. This was truly a wonderful concert which portrayed the extent of the musical talent in Mansfield.
