Find out what caused power cut in Alfreton and Somercotes
Around 3,400 home in Alfreton and Somercotes were left without power today following a power cut.
A spokesperson for Western Power Distribution said a underground cable fault was the cause of the power failure which lasted for an hour, until 2pm.
Homes in Alfreton and Somercotes and nearby areas were affected.
