Fight cancer by entering Race For Life

Every hour, around three people are diagnosed with cancer in the East Midlands - and that’s why Cancer Research is calling on Notts women to fight back by taking part in Race for Life.

Participants can choose between a 5k, 10k or Pretty Muddy run at Clumber Park over the weekend beginning Friday, 19th June.

This year, organisers need 13,400 women and girls to help raise £578,000 in funds.

Sarah Threadgall, Cancer Research UK’s Clumber Park event manager, said: “If you’re looking for an opportunity to get a little or a lot more active in 2015, this is the time to enter to Race for Life.

“The events are non-competitive. Taking part is not about being fit or fast and participants can choose to walk, jog, run or even dance around the course.
