Female cut free from car in Tibshelf

Firefighters cut a female driver from a car following an accident in Tibshelf this afternoon, Thursday, 11th July.

The crews from Alfreton and Clay Cross received a call at 12.45pm to say the single vehicle had been involved in a collision on Doe Hill Lane.

They arrived to find one woman trapped by her injuries, so cutting equipment was used to release her.

She was left in the care of the ambulance service and taken to hospital.

Fire crews left the scene at 2.13pm.
