Fans petition calls on council to reinstate Kirkby Chubby Brown gig

Chubby Brown fans have already raised hundreds of signatures for an online petition calling for the controversial comic to be allowed to play at a Kirkby council venue.

The petition at change.org calls on Ashfield District Council leader Cheryl Butler to reverse a decision to ban him from the Festivel Hall in October.

Petition organiser Ricky-lee Cooke said: “Over 250 signatures in less than one day! Please sign if you’ve not already done so and keep sharing as if we reach 1000 signatures the council must take action to address the concerns raised.
