Family demand better test procedures after flu death

THE family of a Sutton teenager who died from complications after contracting a winter flu virus have issued a hard-hitting demand for better test procedures to be put in place to prevent a similar tragedy.

Ashfield School pupil Greg Bear (17), who had no underlying health conditions, died on 22nd December from septicemia and bronchial pneumonia after becoming ill with the flu virus several days earlier - but his family say that he would have had a better chance of survival if he had been asked when he had last passed urine.
