Extra-special babies born at King's Mill Hospital on the same day as a Royal Prince
Born just one hour before the Royal baby at 10:04am, Thea Spearing, 6lb, 4oz, was welcomed into the world by her family.
Thea will join her two sisters Paige and Robyn and brother Troy.

Hide AdMum Gemma Spearing, from Mansfield said: “My mum is a huge fan of the Royal family, so she will be really pleased that Thea shares the same birthday as the Royal baby.”
Julie Horden, was the midwife who delivered Thea Spearing, she said: “It’s always special and a privilege to deliver babies, but it is extra special when a baby is born on the same day as a Royal, as it is a historic day that will be remembered forever.”
Amy Knowles from Upper Langwith, welcomed her son Brennan Denis Carlisle into the world at 8,22am, she said: “I didn’t realise that the Royal baby was due to be born today as well. It also feels special as it's St George's Day. Brennan can be my Royal prince though, he's lovely.”
Carmen Howden’s baby son Rylan Lewis Howden, 5lb 4oz, made it a hat-trick of babies to share the special day, being born at 11,47am.

Hide AdCarmen, from Rainworth said: “He was two weeks early, so it was a bit of a surprise. I didn’t know that the Royal baby was due to day, but it’s nice that he shares the date with him. I’m looking forward to getting him home and settling him in.”
The Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton gave birth to a baby boy at 11:01am on Monday, April 23.
The baby weighed 8lb 7oz and is yet to be named. Members of both families are said to be “delighted with the news” with mother and baby “both doing well”.
