Experience trench life at Thoresby
The Queen’s Royal Lancers and Nottinghamshire Yeomanry Museum is marking the anniversary of the Great War with a special exhibition, featuring a section of a typical trench which soldiers would have manned during campaigns on the Western Front.
Staff and volunteers have spent months planning and building the trench with the kind of materials which would have been available to the British Military.
